I am a single mom and I love my life. I can’t imagine being anywhere else. I live in Washington State with my two kids and my dog and I am completely comfortable in my own skin. I started this blog because to many of my friends and family are unhappy where they are right now. Instead of comparing themselves to fairytales and love stories, I thought I would give a more realistic story, mine. It is real and hard and worth every step. So, stick around and enjoy.
Keep it up! This is one of the reasons I started my blog – because being a single mother is, right now, my fairy tale. There’s something about being completely independent and raising your children by yourself that is utterly exhilerating. All I know is that I would do it all over again just to have the moments I have now.

I’m soooooo with ya! I appreciate the support. We single moms, as good as we have it, need to stick together. Other than having my kids, this blog has been the most fun I have had in a long time. I hope you will stick with me here as I will certainly be checking out your blog as well.

I don’t know if I like it or not. Does it seem boring to you? I agree it is much easier to read and I do like the 3 column vs. the 2 column. I think I need to spice it up a bit. I read a blog from a woman in Hawaii (we have the same name) and her blog was sooo cool looking. I need to do something a little more ME!
